Persistence is the key to maintain success

Persistence Training deals with the skill of changing
the current view of a situation into a better view of the situation, the skill of improving situations, and the skill
of getting results.

The following overview is an example of what persistence training is all about:

  • The basic premise of persistence is that, all things being equal, success (The reaching of select, valid goals), is a function of sustained directed effort.
  • Persistence may be conceived of as a set of adaptive procedures - i.e., goal setting techniques, individuals can learn to use on a regular basis to sustain directed effort toward achieving goals.

Upon completion of the training, you will be able to:

  • Assess a situation easily and Goal set new objectives

  • Assess existing behaviors relative to those goals

  • Identity the enabling objectives necessary to reach those goals

  • Modify individual lifestyles and work styles that tend to enhance peak performance.

  • Employ select adaptive procedures - i.e., self-talk – to maintain the behaviors that will enhance performance further and keep and create anchors that maintain winning attitudes
  • Program a new goal image directly into your subconscious
